Step into the art of ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement, in this unique cultural experience. Guided by a kimono-clad ikebana artist, you’ll discover the elegance and history of this centuries-old practice in an authentic 24-mat tatami room. ◆Ikebana Experience Enjoy a hands-on lesson where you’ll learn the basics of ikebana, from using floral scissors and arranging flowers on a kenzan, to creating your own seasonal work of art. Once considered the highest form of hospitality in a Japanese home, ikebana offers a serene way to appreciate beauty, harmony, and tradition. ◆ Oshima Tsumugi Haori Included All participants will wear a luxurious Oshima Tsumugi haori during the experience. This rare silk textile—mud-dyed for deep color and woven with kasuri patterns—is lightweight, supple, and elegant, making your ikebana practice even more memorable. ◆ Languages: Japanese & English ◆ About the Experience Time The ikebana activity takes approximately 60 minutes. Private or semi-private sessions are available for 1–20 participants (for 21 or more, please contact us). ◆ Perfect for Photos and Lasting Memories No preparation needed—just bring yourself, and everything will be provided.
