In this special plan, you’ll learn to craft nerikiri, the delicate Japanese sweets traditionally served in tea ceremonies, while enjoying a cup of freshly prepared matcha. ◆ Japanese Sweets Making Experience Held in a serene 24-mat authentic tatami room, this experience allows you to craft nerikiri, the traditional sweet served in tea ceremonies, while enjoying a cup of freshly prepared matcha green tea.You will also learn about the centuries-old history of the tea ceremony, originating from samurai culture, and once considered the ultimate form of entertainment. Our experienced host will guide you step by step through the techniques and unique characteristics of these exquisite Japanese sweets. ◆ Languages: Japanese & English ◆ About the Experience Time The course lasts approximately 60 minutes. For groups, the number of participants can be set from 2 to 10 people. Please note that reservations for only one person may be subject to cancellation.
